Doing my internship with the Suchitwa Mission in Pangode Panchayat was a very useful and eye-opening experience. I got to visit many places, talk to local workers, and see how waste is collected, sorted, and managed in real life. I also helped with water testing and awareness programs for the public. These activities helped me understand how important proper waste management is and how it affects the environment and people’s health. This experience taught me many practical things and made me more interested in working for a cleaner and healthier environment.

I consider the internship I did under Sri. Jagjeevan Sir and Suhana Ma’am at the Suchitwa Mission as a turning point in my academic life. It was a unique experience beyond what I learned in the classroom. The panchayat visits conducted as part of the fieldwork, the survey on household waste management practices, coliform testing of water, and the hazardous waste collection drive conducted on campus — all of these have definitely inspired my future studies and activities. It was through this internship that I truly understood the ground-level reality of waste management. This experience has taken my postgraduate learning beyond the confines of textbooks, strengthening my conviction that true knowledge finds its purpose when applied meaningfully for the benefit of society.

My internship at the Suchitwa Mission was truly one of the most enriching experiences of my life. This opportunity allowed me to explore and learn about several new and important aspects of waste management. I am especially grateful to Mr. Jagjeevan sir and Miss Suhana mam for their constant guidance and support throughout the internship. It was only after joining that I realized how much effort our government and the Suchitwa mission are putting into waste management.Being able to participate in the waste management workshop, visit a panchayat to observe their waste management practices firsthand, prepare a report on it, and personally submit it to the LSGD Joint Secretary — all of these were honors and proud moments for me.
